Neko Case
Neko Case, born in 1970 in Virginia, began her music career in the mid-90s, initially gaining attention as the drummer for various punk bands. She eventually transitioned to a solo career, blending elements of alt-country, indie rock, and folk. Known for her powerful voice and poetic lyrics, Case has been a prominent figure in the indie music scene, both as a solo artist and as a member of the supergroup The New Pornographers. Over the years, she has released a series of critically acclaimed albums, with “Fox Confessor Brings the Flood” often hailed as her most significant work.
